Many of you wonder what a Roundy’s Card is good for other than to get the sale price of items. Well…it is good to get the sale prices of items or to get a coupon back from purchasing a certain $ amount of product. It is also good for Fuelperk Rewards! Believe it or not, many people don’t know about the Fuelperks or even notice the part of the receipt that shows the amount that they have to save on gas.
In order to earn Fuelperks, you need to make sure that you scan your Roundy’s card or give your phone number associated with your card. For every “$50″ that you spend, you earn .05 in Fuelperks Rewards. Now I put “$50″ in quotes, because it isn’t on how much you spend as I can spend $5 and save $20, yet I can get $18 towards my fuelperks. Earning money towards your $50 fuelperk bonus is cumulative. This means that I can earn $10 in one trip, $20 in another and $25 in another trip which will give me .05 earned along with $5 towards my next .05 reward. So don’t think that you won’t ever spend enough to earn a reward. Plus, you have 3 months once you earn .05 to redeem it and in the meantime of those 3 months, you will be earning more and more fuelperks rewards.
Look at the receipt above. This is towards the bottom of my Rainbow Foods receipt. The “Rewards Earned Today” is the amount that was added to my TOTAL FULEPERKS in the next line which is now at .10 off a gallon. Below that is .00 where I have nothing that will be expiring this month.
IF I did have something that was expiring, I would have to use my fuelperks card before the end of the month or I would lose just that amount of fuelperks off per gallon. I would still have the rest that wasn’t expiring…remember that once you earn .05, you have 3 months in order to use it.
*Note…when you go in to redeem your Fuelperks, you will be redeem ALL of the rewards. In my case above, I would get .10 off a gallon. I couldn’t just tell them that I want just .05 off a gallon.
The “Dollar amount towards next fuel rewards is” is the amount that I have towards the next .05 gas reward. In the receipt above, it shows that $16.93 is going towards the $50, meaning I have just $33.07 to spend before I get another .05 off per gallon added to my Fuelperks rewards.
To find the locations that will accept the Fuelperks, be sure to ask for a map at your local Roundy’s Store. Though they switched from most of the BP gas stations (apparently a few will still take them) to Shell Gas Stations.
Once you have accumulated enough fuelperks or you have some that are going to expire, go to your local participating gas stations WITH YOUR CARD. You can insert your card at the pump and it will take off the amount of Fuelperks that are on your account automatically at the pump. Otherwise you can pump your gas and take your Roundy’s card inside in order to get the discount. You can ONLY GET 20 GALLONS with the discount off per gallon.
Reap in the rewards of being a savvy shopper / saver with your Roundy’s Fuelperks Reward Card. Above you can see that I pumped just a tad over 20 and I saved $23.00 which means I had $1.15 on my Fuelperks Reward Card. Not bad for 3 months of saving up and for anyone that knows me, I did not spend $1,150 in order to get that much in Fuelperks rewards.

Hi all! I’m having trouble finding gas stations that still take the FuelPerks … anyone know any stations around Richfield/Bloomington? Thanks!
