  1. The Hormel sandwichmakers coupon expires before either one of the double daze, so cannot be used to get it for free…

    1. Thank you, but I did put it in there in case someone wanted to get it before it doubles also. :) We always have to look at exp dates of our coupons which you did.

  2. Went to Rainbow armed with the $1.00 off coupons for Planter’s Peanut butter. The Planter’s Peanut butter that is on sale for $1.99 is a small jar, (probably about 8 oz.). On Friday and Saturday the price will go down to $.98. This does not see to be such at great deal to spend my precious coupons . Granted with the doubled coupon it would be free, But wouldn’t it be better to have a 16 oz jar and get $2.00 off of $2.99 (the price in my price book) and pay a few cents? Is there a flaw in this thinking???

    1. Nothing wrong with your thinking at all. I didn’t realize that it was the smaller jar and not the normal size jar. I agree that the .99 per jar is my buy it now price also.

Though if people ordered coupons, they may have only paid .10 a coupon which would make the jars free after the coupon and it costing them just .10. IF you only got a couple of coupons, then I would use them for the $2.99 jar and pay .99 as my family goes through a jar in a week.
