**This program is not running for 2013 season**
I just ran across this deal from Mt Olympus on their Facebook page and was able to check it out this weekend! You can get a FREE ticket to Mt Olympus by filling up your tank with just 10 gallons of gas. There is a HUGE list of Shell gas stations in Wisconsin that you can go and do this and I can tell you that there are people who don’t know about this deal.
There is one on your way to Wisconsin Dells and one actually in Wisconsin Dells. So…if you time it right, you can actually get 2 tickets by stopping at both stations OR you can ask nicely other people if you could get the tickets that they would be getting. I asked the guy in front of me and he didn’t even know about the program. There is a huge printable list on the facebook page, but the Mauston Park Oasis SHELL 5641 HWY 82 East Mauston, WI 53948 is SUPER Friendly and very helpful. They are located just 20 miles from Wisconsin Dells. The other one is the TRAVEL MART SHELL 911 US HIGHWAY 12 AND 16 Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965.
Please note that you do NOT have to reserve a room in order to use these FREE tickets! The gas station gave me the “ticket” and stapled on the gas receipt along with stamping the “code” on each one. Then I went to the site that they specified and entered in the date that I was going and entered in the code (lower case). It looks like you are reserving a room, but you are NOT! A new page will pop up with the free ticket info where you have to add in your name and phone number. You go right to the ticket counter with the gas station receipt and “ticket” to “get your tickets” to get in for FREE. It is really that simple!
You can also get $10 off tickets with their coupon on Mt Olympus.com.
***Heads up…forgot to add that there is $10 parking fee and there are lockers for $10 and you get back $5 when you bring back the key. I suggest bringing your own food in a cooler that you will have to leave in your vehicle as prices are high in the park. Get there early and go on the “family” tube rides as that line gets long in the afternoon. We got on in the morning only after a 5 minute wait.****
