Cub Foods Coupon Policy

PrintFriendly and PDF

After some conversation with a few fans of CC about Cub Foods Coupon Policy about using 2 coupons on a store BOGO, I was able to get a copy of it.  Though it doesn’t state anything in there about using two coupons on a store BOGO , John stated that yes, we’re able to use two $1.00/1 coupons (or similiar) on a store BOGO.

  1. I have the Buy one Bengay, Get One Precise coupon that expires today. Can I use a $1 Tylenol and $3 Bengay along with the BOGO. All are mfg coupons. If not exactly which coupons could I use? TIA Robin

    1. You should be able to use a BOGO and then ONE other coupon as long as it is $ /1. You can’t use a coupon on the free one from the manufacturer coupon

  2. thanks so much Karen, with all the changes lately I get confused as to who accepts what. Have a great day.

  3. last week at the monticello cub, i purchased gedney pickles with a bogo store coupon. i also had 2 manu coupons for .75 each. the cashier said i can no longer use a coupon on the free item. they are tightening down on their coupon policy. i was really disappointed since i have been using two manu coupons on bogo items for a year now. i think i will try one more time but this time give the manu coupons first and the store coupons 2nd. this won’t help me though on the bogo sales where no store coupon is needed. have you heard of this change? by the way coborns DOES still take 2 manu coupons on bogo sales. thank you!

    1. Teresa….I did have an email from someone in Cub Foods that said we could still use a coupon on each item in a BOGO sale. I can’t find that email anymore. Ugh

  4. Does anyone know if Cub limits the number of BOGOs on non-coupon items? I know they have many BOGOs right now that don’t require coupons for them but I want to stock up on a few items.

    1. As far as I know, they don’t have any limits. If you want a super large quantity, you can call them and have them order it for you. It only takes like a day or two for them to get it.

  5. Last week I was at Cub on Rice and overheard the cashier telling someone they take expired q’s up to 90 days, I even confirmed with the cashier what she told that customer.

    1. Each store can make up their own rules as to expired coupons even though policy says 30 days. You are lucky if you can take them still 3 months.

  6. do you know if cub gives overage? i want to use the new jose ole $3.00 off coupons on the $1.00 jose ole single burritos. so it would be $1.00 overage with each coupon. can i use overage on other groceries? thank you!

    1. No…they are not suppose to give overage, but at times they will. It all depends on how your cashier accepts the coupon. They can either push it through (overage) or reduce the coupon value.

      1. Hi Karen! Thanks so much for all your tips! I have a question. If something was on sale at the store, for example: 2/$5.00 (let’s say 2 shampoo for $5.00) and I have a MFC for $1/2 of that same shampoo, can I combine it? So, 2/$5.00 and $1/2 will make the final price $4.00?

Thank You! I hope that make sense!
