Thanks to a tip from Creative Couponing fan Cindy and her hubby, she found out that Cub Foods has thick sliced bacon in 5 lb packages for just $9.95. I’m assuming that this is a special for the weekend, but I would for sure go on Sat and not lose out on $1.99 lb bacon!
The sign says it is a 3 Day special – Limit 1 5# package.
ER Cub had 1-2# packages of the same bacon in the fresh meat section for $1.99/# – no limit.

Yes, I found this today and it was the Thick Sliced Applewood Smoked. Great to divide and freeze! Given pork prices are predicted to really soar soon.
