Holiday No Coast Craft-o-Rama show at Mid-Town Global Market on Saturday 12/8

The No Coast Craft-o-Rama is a craft event that began in December 2005 as a way to feature a variety of designers, artists, crafters and other talented creators of unique handmade goods. This year it’s on  Saturday, December 8 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at the Midtown Global Exchange building. Be sure to come by and see some of the finest artisans and crafters around.

More info about No Coast and this year’s holiday vendors HERE

Midtown Global Market is located in Minneapolis on Lake Street and 10th Avenue.  Conveniently located in the Phillips and Powderhorn neighborhoods in Minneapolis and easily accessible from anywhere in the Twin Cities. Since opening in June of 2006, the Midtown Global Market has developed a reputation for great food, diverse entertainment and a “fun & funky” vibe that rivals many of today’s top public markets.

Places to Go: Kiddo Klips

Amy is my go to person for family fun events, as she is very active with her 3 year old son.  She is always going somewhere to enhance his view of the world and of course getting a haircut in a unique place is something to look forward to.  Plus, after the haircut you can head to Kid’s Rack, an awesome second hand children’s clothing store.

This weeks go to place is a very fun kids haircut salon and just in time for those summer cuts!!!! I like to keep Tanners hair short and he gets cut every 4 weeks and we all know that can add up. We found a neat place in Champlin (we drive 20 minutes to get his hair cut ) and have not gone anywhere else. They just celebrated their one year anniversary too! Tanner’s hair cut is only $9.95 as she uses just the clipper. That is cheaper then using a coupon at “other” places. They have happy hour deals also:

Hair-Klip Happy Hour
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays
from 1:00pm-3:00pm
$11.95 Hair-Klips
